| I started my real estate investing education several years ago by reading every book I could find on the subject. I sent away for audio courses, video courses, books, e-books, software and lots more. I studied these courses and read all the books on real estate investing. I also read books on related topics such as sales, marketing, finance, time management, business planning, motivation and lots of other topics. If Real Estate Investing was a University program I would probably have a PhD in Real Estate Investing by now. Just think, Dr. Jim Pellerin PhD REI. I also attended a lot of seminars and bought a lot of training. I learned a lot about what to do but I always thought there was something missing. I probably spent over $200,000 educating myself over the last few years. Some of these courses cost me $5,000. Some even cost $7,000. I was getting smarter but not richer. What was I doing wrong? What was even more disturbing is that I was told that only about 2% of the people in the courses would ever become successful Real Estate Investors. Why was that? Then it struck me... The Key to Successful Real Estate Investing is Not What You Know. They Key is What You Do and How You Do It... Believe me there are a lot of smart people who have spent thousands of dollars on Real Estate Investing education and who still are not Real Estate Investors. But they know lots about Real Estate Investing. They could probably write a book on the subject (I already have). Some courses can cost between $3,000 and $7,000
and all they do is provide more information. And what happens when these people leave the courses or finish the books? They were all excited and pumped but when they got home all that enthusiasm went out the window. They didn't know where to start? What do they do next? Where do they look for properties? How do they find financing? These people were smart people too. They had all the information. They spent all that money. Surely, they wanted to put their new knowledge to good use. They must still want financial freedom. So what was the problem? The problem was that they didn’t have a plan. You always need a plan to succeed in any business. 'Without A Plan, You Never Know Where You Are Going So You Will Never Know When You Get There' Not only did they not have a plan, they didn’t have anyone to help them create a plan. Someone to guide them. Someone to answer all the tough questions. Someone to share all of their problems with (and believe me I have had my share of problems and I am still learning). So I got this great idea to put together this course. But not just another course that just provides more information, but a workshop. There are a lot of people out there with a lot less knowledge who are making a lot of money. I wanted to create a course that actually changes people. I wanted to create a course that actually... ... Creates Real Estate Investors!! As part of my own education, I actually read over 500 books on real estate and other related topics. I also am very passionate about creating systems and finding ways to automate things to make them easier and more efficient. So I started developing my own methodology. I knew I wanted something different. I wanted something that people would use. Something that could help make a change in people. It had to be a complete system. It had to look at the problems people had when they were getting started and why they weren’t following through. It had to show how to lay the ground work. Interestingly, Real Estate Investing has lots of activities that can be planned and automated. I looked at all the things that needed to be done.
